Terms for using JP Name, including AI-generated name suggestions, user responsibilities, purchases, and availability.
What JP Name provides
JP Name offers AI-assisted Japanese name suggestions, name explanations, ranking references, history, favorites, feedback, diagnostics, device verification, pronunciation playback, writing guides, purchase verification, and purchase restoration. The service is for personal reference and exploration.
No professional advice
Generated names, scores, warnings, popularity references, kanji explanations, pronunciation playback, writing guides, and local impressions are informational suggestions only. They do not create legal identity rights and are not legal, immigration, household-registration, trademark, cultural, medical, psychological, language, education, or professional naming advice.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter and for how you use generated results. Do not submit information that you do not have the right to use, highly sensitive information, illegal content, abusive content, or content that infringes others' rights.
AI output and content rights
You may use generated name suggestions for lawful personal or creative purposes. JP Name does not guarantee that any output is accurate, unique, available for registration, culturally appropriate in every context, or free from third-party rights. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users.
Purchases, credits, and refunds
If paid credits are offered, payment and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. JP Name may record transaction identifiers and entitlement status to provide purchased features and restore purchases. Credits may be limited by the terms shown at purchase and by applicable law.
Availability and changes
JP Name may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, quotas, ranking data, or supported languages. Generation may be delayed, unavailable, or unsuccessful due to network, provider, or security issues.
Open source resources
Some app components and writing data come from third-party open source projects and may be governed by their own licenses.
